About Causes:

When does my cause receive the donation?
Checks are sent out to causes monthly, 30 days in arrears. For example:

For purchases made by:	Oct. 31	Dec. 31	Feb 28	April 30
Checks sent to cause on or about:	Nov. 30	Jan 31	Mar 31	May 31

Your Cause Cards does not send out checks for amounts less than $20. If a cause has received less than $20 in donations at the end of the month, the funds will carry over each month until $20 accrues. However, at the end of the calendar year, Your Cause Cards clears all outstanding balances owed to causes. Donations checks for amounts below $20 will be issued at that time.

How do I know my cause received the donation?
Your Cause Cards aggregates donations from all purchases into a single check which we send out monthly. There are two ways to check the status of your donation:

• Become a Registered Donor. As a Registered Donor you can log into your account and check the status of your donation at any time
• The Donation Number on your Confirmation e-mail allows you to check directly with your cause whether they have received your donation. Each check we issue to a cause lists the Donation Numbers that have contributed to the total amount.

Is there a minimum amount for checks issued to causes? Yes, the smallest check we will write is $20 for monthly pay-outs. However at the end of the year, we clear all outstanding balances owed to causes.

Can I change the cause I support?
Each time you purchase our cards, you can change the cause that will receive the donation. However you can only choose one cause per transaction. So for example, if you choose our 20 cards pack, the $60 donation can only go to one cause; it cannot be split among several causes.

How much money does my cause receive?
Your cause receives the full amount of the donation as stated at the time of purchase.

What causes can I support?
You can support any cause. It does not have to be a registered 501 (c)-3. If the cause is important to you, you can help support it: your child’s soccer team, your local hospital, the Red Cross; these are just some examples of organizations that can benefit from your help.

Can I support a cause that is not on your list?
Yes, you can assign your donation to any worthy cause. We feature nonprofits on Buy Your Cause Card, if you don’t find your cause there, you can enter its name and address in the form provided and it will receive your donation.

Can I support more than one cause?
You can only support one cause at a time. However, each time you shop, you can change the cause you support.

How do I link my cause to Your Cause Cards?
Place our banner on your site and any click-through card purchases will donate to your cause. Your cause will automatically be entered as the donation recipient. Easy to install, it makes sure your donors select you when they purchase our cards. Simply go to Information for Causes and click on Add a banner to my site. Complete the information sheet and click on Submit Your Cause. Now you can cut and paste the code into your site, it will appear as our banner.

About tax deductions:

Is my donation tax deductible?
Your donation is not tax deductible since you will be receiving goods and services of equivalent value to the amount of your purchase.
